Our feature, also called fillable PDFs, allows you to create a PDF that can be filled by someone else and returned to you. This can be done without using Form Maker. Just about anyone can use it, as long as they have the necessary software. To begin, we start by creating a form and giving it a name. Moving on to the form settings, we need to specify that the PDF type is editable. There are three choices: unscaled, scaled, and editable. An editable form is a fillable form. Now, we enter design mode. It is important to note that fillable forms must fit within the screen size of your iPad or iPhone. You cannot create a form longer than the screen, as the bottom part will be cut off. To accommodate more content, you can use multiple pages. Adding a page is simple with the "add page" button. However, in this demonstration, we will create a single-page fillable form. On the form, we can drag and drop text entry fields and choices. We can also clone existing fields for convenience. Once we have added all the necessary fields, we can save the form. No need to worry about labels or questions; we will keep it simple. To create the editable PDF, we need to run the form at least once. Pressing a tick at the top will save the result. Now, we can view the result on the results screen.
