These apps already offer many different templates, but maybe you want to have your own branding or grid size. There isn't much guidance on how to create a template, but the most important thing is to find the right page size. In this article, I will show you exactly how to find the right page size for your page templates and how to import them into your note-taking app, whether you use Notes, GoodNotes, or Notability. I will also show you how to easily create gridded, lined, and even dotted pages using PowerPoint. This is just a small part of the full online course where I teach you how to build a full digital journal. But for now, let's focus on the most asked question – how to build a template for your note-taking app. So let's get started. To create a template for your note-taking app, you first need to know what page size these apps use. You can find this information in any note-taking app you are using. I will demonstrate this using Note Chef. Simply open the app and create a new note. It doesn't matter what you write in it. Now, change the template to the size you want for your custom template. Once you have made the changes, export the current page as a PDF to your preferred cloud service or save it on your device. In this example, I will save it in my iCloud.
